Macau Gazettes 2026 Budget Law

The Macanese Official Gazette Dec. 29, 2025, published Law No. 13/2025, the 2026 Budget Law, for financial year 2026. The law includes measures: 1) exempting stamp duty, up to 6 million Macanese patacas (US$747,111), on documents for residential property transfers for consideration, for qualifying Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) residents; 2) providing a 30 percent business tax deduction, and increasing the business tax exemption threshold to 144,000 patacas (US$17,930); 3) providing a 60 percent refund, capped at 14,000 patacas (US$1,743), of business tax paid for financial year 2024 by holders Macau SAR Resident Identity Cards on Dec. 31, 2024; 4) ...
