The Malaysian Federal Government Gazette March 13 published Order No. P.U. (A) 125/2026, the Service Tax (Rate of Tax) (Amendment) Order 2026. The order includes a measure adding provisions of rental or leasing services to the First Schedule list of taxable services subject to the 6 percent service tax rate. The order took effect Jan. 1.
