The Malaysian National News Agency Oct. 25 announced tax incentives for young investors ages 20 to 30, to capitalize on the digital channel of AmInvest’s Private Retirement Scheme (PRS). Eligible young subscribers have until Dec. 31 to be given funds from the government to invest a minimum contribution of 1,000 Malaysian ringgit (US$240) in the PRS. The announcement adds that working individuals are eligible for a maximum tax incentive of 3,000 Malaysian ringgit (US$719). [Malaysia, National News Agency, 10/25/18]
