The Malaysian Inland Revenue Board July 2 announced the July 15 deadline for taxpayers operating businesses to electronically file the return form for assessment year 2024 and pay. The announcement includes: 1) the categories of taxpayers required to electronically file and pay by the deadline; 2) the electronic filing methods through the MyTax portal or the Tax Agency’s official portal; and 3) the imposition of penalties, increases, or legal action for failure to timely comply with the deadline.
