The Malaysian Inland Revenue Board April 28 announced the updated 2020 tax filing program for limited liability partnerships, trusts, and cooperatives. The announcement includes: 1) a two-month extension for filing 2019 returns and petroleum income taxes for accounting periods ending July 31, 2019, to Aug. 31, 2019; 2) a three-month extension for filling 2019 returns and petroleum income taxes for accounting periods ending Sep. 1, 2019, to Dec. 31, 2019; 3) a two-month extension for filing 2020 returns for accounting periods ending Jan. 1 to March 31; and 4) filing instructions.
