The Maryland Appellate Court issued a decision reversing the Circuit Court for Baltimore City’s decision to vacate the judgment foreclosing taxpayer’s right to redeem their property after a tax sale. The subject property was sold to a third party at a tax sale in 2021 after taxpayer failed to pay for cleaning services performed by the city, resulting in a tax lien. Taxpayer challenged the tax sale, but the circuit court entered judgment foreclosing their right of redemption.
