Former Treasury official Brian Jenn joined McDermott Will & Emery LLP’s tax practice as a partner in the Chicago office, as Jay Singer moved from that firm to partnership at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Washington.
- Jenn helped develop the 2017 tax overhaul’s international rules and guidance as deputy international tax counsel at the Treasury Department. He co-chaired the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Task Force on the Digital Economy and was a U.S. delegate to the OECD’s base erosion and profit shifting project.
