The Mexican Tax Administration Services (SAT) April 14 announced the April 30 deadline to file 2024 individual income tax returns. The announcement also includes that: 1) the deadline applies to taxpayers with 2024 income from salaries, wages, professional services, specified business activities, real estate rentals, interest or dividends, and asset sales or acquisitions; 2) taxpayers under the simplified tax regime (RESICO) are exempt from filing individual tax returns, with exceptions; and 3) deductions for specified expenses can be claimed if an invoice is requested and paid online.
