Millionaires must start paying Argentina’s one-off wealth tax, designed to help the government finance its response to the Covid-19 pandemic, by the end of next month.
Under Ruling 4942 published Friday by tax authority Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos (AFIP), individuals subject to the tax will be able to select a payment plan, under which they can pay 20% of the total owed by April 28 and the rest in up to five consecutive equal monthly installments, plus interest.
