Moldova MOF Posts Draft Order to Amend VAT Refund Rules for Agricultural Producers

The Moldovan Ministry of Finance Oct. 31 posted online a draft order to amend the VAT refund rules for agricultural producers. The draft order includes measures to: 1) limit the refundable amount to the deductible VAT declared for December 2024, applicable to VAT refund cases for the fiscal periods from July 2023 to June 2026; and 2) consider both the deductible VAT for December 2024 and any previously refunded VAT, for assessing the maximum refund for the second stage of the VAT refund program.
