Moldova Tax Agency Announces Increase VAT Rate Increase for HORECA Sector

The Moldovan State Tax Service Feb. 13 announced the Feb. 14 increase in the VAT rate for the hotel, restaurant, and cafe (HORECA) sector, to 8 percent from 6 percent, following the expiration of the country’s state of emergency.
