Moldova Tax Agency Clarifies Tax Subsidies for Businesses Due to Coronavirus

The Moldovan State Tax Service May 6 clarified that businesses that have totally or partially ceased their activity due to the coronavirus pandemic are eligible for a tax subsidy of: 1) 100 percent of the amount of income taxes and fees due for taxpayers ordered to cease by specified Moldovan government agencies; or 2) 60 percent of the amount of income taxes and fees due for taxpayers that have ceased activity for reasons other than by government order.
