The Namibian Revenue Agency March 27 announced a further extension, to Oct. 31 from March 31, of the deadline for filing corporate and individual income tax returns. The announcement states that: 1) the further extension applies to tax returns originally due between July 31, 2025, and Sept. 30, 2026, for taxpayers carrying on a trade affected by the amended loss carryforward limitation rules; and 2) taxpayers with assessed losses exceeding 1 million Namibian dollars (US$60,430) from the previous year must apply the amended rules.
