The Dutch Government Oct. 9 announced an increase in statutory minimum wages, effective Jan. 1, 2024. The announcement includes increases in statutory gross minimum hourly wage rates, to: 1) 13.27 euros (US$14.09) for employees aged 21 years and older; 2) 10.62 euros (US$11.28) for employees 20 years old; 3) 7.96 euros (US$8.42) for employees 19 years old; 4) 6.64 euros (US$7.05) for employees 18 years old; 5) 5.24 euros (US$5.56) for employees 17 years old; 6) 4.58 euros (US$4.86) for employees 16 years old; and 7) 3.98 euros (US$4.23) for employees 15 years old.
