The Dutch Government Dec. 19 announced an increase in statutory minimum wages, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The announcement includes increases in statutory gross minimum hourly wage rates, to: 1) 14.06 euros (US$14.67) for employees aged 21 years and older; 2) 11.25 euros (US$11.74) for employees 20 years old; 3) 8.44 euros (US$8.80) for employees 19 years old; 4) 7.03 euros (US$7.33) for employees 18 years old; 5) 5.55 euros (US$5.79) for employees 17 years old; and 6) 4.85 euros (US$5.06) and 4.22 euros (US$4.40), for employees 16 years old and 15 years old, respectively.
