Netherlands Anti-Money Laundering Fight to Include Crypto Focus

The Netherlands is ramping up its anti-money laundering efforts, the government said Friday.

The new approach will seek to better apply regulations to nonfinancial institutions like cryptocurrency providers, notaries, and lawyers, the Finance and Justice Ministries said in a statement. It will also include a focus on identifying the ultimate beneficial owners of companies, trusts, associations, and foundations.
