Netherlands MOF Posts 2025 Tax Plan

The Dutch Ministry of Finance Sept. 17 posted online the 2025 Tax Plan. The 2025 Tax Plan package includes measures to: 1) reduce the first income tax band rate to 35.82 percent from 36.97 percent on annual income up to 38,441 euros (US$42,805) and introduce a second tax bracket with a rate of 37.48 percent, applicable to annual income between 38,441 euros and 76,817 euros (US$85,538), starting in 2025; 2) maintain the box 3 income tax rate at 36 percent by removing the planned reduction; 3) increase the general limit on interest deduction for corporation tax purposes to 25 percent ...
