New Treasury Official Wants Biden to Revive Annual ‘Green Book’

A high-level Treasury Department official said Tuesday that the new administration should bring back an annual wish list of fiscal policy proposals that former President Donald Trump’s White House did away with.

The Treasury document, commonly referred to as the Green Book, offers a detailed explanation of the administration’s revenue proposals. Historically it has been released in support of the president’s annual budget request.

  • The Green Book hasn’t been published since fiscal 2017, the last budget cycle for the Obama administration.
