Nominees Sought to Lead Financial, Government Accounting Boards

The Financial Accounting Foundation issued a call for nominations Thursday for key leadership positions on several standard-setting boards it oversees.

The foundation is seeking candidates to chair the Financial Accounting Standards and Governmental Accounting Standards boards, among other positions. The nominees would replace FASB Chair Richard Jones and GASB Chair Joel Black, whose terms end on June 30, 2027.

The new chairs would serve a seven-year term starting on July 1, 2027.
