North Macedonia Tax Agency Issues 2025 Compulsory Social Security Contribution Rates

The North Macedonian Public Revenue Office Dec. 31, 2024, issued the 2025 compulsory social security contribution rates for health insurance, pension, and disability insurance. The announcement clarifies: 1) the individual income reduction of 123,240 Macedonian denars (US$2,053) annually; 2) the tax reduction for income earned from work, including basic salary, salary allowances, and pension, every month in the amount of 10,270 denars (US$171); and 3) the procedures for the online filing of salary calculations.
