Norway’s Finance Minister Siv Jensen confirmed that the country would consider implementing a digital services tax in 2021 if international negotiations to rewrite tax rules for the digital economy fail to reach consensus.
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development hopes to reach agreement among nearly 140 countries this year about how and where global digital companies should be taxed.
