The OECD is continuing its negotiations over the global tax treaty, missing a March 31 deadline for agreement on the convention’s final text.
In a statement Monday, a top OECD official said the treaty discussions “continue to move forward constructively.”
The delay is the latest in a string of setbacks to a critical part of the broad tax deal agreed to by over 140 countries in 2021. The multilateral treaty—also known as Amount A—is part of Pillar One of the deal.
