OECD Pitches Punting VAT Compliance Burden to Digital Companies

The OECD released recommendations on how digital tech giants can aid in the international effort to crack down on value-added tax fraud.

The list of possible solutions for indirect tax collection for countries to consider as they draft rules aimed at taxing the digital economy include imposing new reporting and collection requirements on online sales platforms.
