The number of cases brought through international dispute resolution programs has fallen for the first time in 2023, according to a report published by the OECD.
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development released its annual statistics report on the Mutual Agreement Procedure along with new data on advance pricing agreements on Friday.
The report found that for the first time, MAP cases had decreased by 3.8%, and new MAP cases involving transfer pricing decreased by 16%. Transfer pricing refers to the way corporations value transactions between related companies.
