OECD Tax Deal Report a Letdown for African Countries, Business

Developing countries and businesses said the OECD’s progress report released Wednesday on the global tax agreement falls short of expectations and leaves out key details.

Businesses said they hoped to see more detail on what the Inclusive Framework had accomplished on a part of the global tax deal known as Pillar One, which would reallocate a portion of the profits of large multinationals.
