OECD to Publish Draft Transfer Pricing Guidance in Coming Months

The OECD is planning to circulate draft updates on the tax treatment of intragroup services in the coming months, a transfer pricing official said.

The group plans to publish a draft for public consultation on chapter seven of its transfer pricing guidelines, Gabriela Capristano Cardoso, transfer pricing adviser at the OECD Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, said at the IBA/ABA Annual US and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference in Rome.

The chapter on intragroup services, dating back to 1997, needs to be “modernized” to reflect the global economy’s growing reliance on services, she said.
