More than 250 delegates from over 70 countries attended the first information sharing meeting held by the OECD about implementing its global minimum tax rules on Tuesday.
The series is designed to help developing countries implement the global tax deal, with best practice lessons shared by early movers.
The initiative was developed by the UK tax authority His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and will use the Canada Revenue Agency’s knowledge sharing platform to help global tax administrations understand how to best implement the deal.
