Peruvians selling goods online must start paying income tax rates of almost 30% starting July 2023, under a decree published Friday.
Under Decree No 1524, tax authority SUNAT will be able to register individuals as taxpayers if it determines that they are carrying out activities that are subject to income tax. It requires individuals and companies offering goods and services to advertise their tax identification numbers and include them in related documentation, the Economy and Finance Ministry said in a statement.
