Philippines Senate Considers Bill to Further Extend Estate Tax Amnesty Program

The Philippine Senate Nov. 11 accepted for consideration Bill No. 1488, to further extend the estate tax amnesty program deadline to June 14, 2028, from June 14, 2027. The bill includes measures to extend the date to electronically or manually file a sworn estate tax amnesty return and pay the tax for these estates.
