Philippines Tax Agency Issues Circular Further Extending Filing Deadlines Due to Coronavirus

The Philippine Bureau of Internal Revenue April 8 issued a circular further extending the filing deadlines for various taxes. The circular further extends the filing deadlines by 15 days for: 1) monthly withholding taxes for February; 2) quarterly income tax returns; 3) annual information returns on final withholding taxes; 4) certificates of compensation; 5) excise tax returns for March; 6) monthly VAT declarations for February and March; 7) document recording taxes; and 8) capital gains tax payments.
