The Polish Official Gazette March 25 published a regulation implementing reduced VAT rates on specified goods and services. The regulation includes measures reducing VAT rates to: 1) 5 percent on the purchase and import of various food products; 2) zero percent on the import of services funded with non-returnable foreign aid, intra-EU transport services and warehoused goods, and medical diagnostic products; and 3) 8 percent on maintenance work on technical elements of housing and non-residential buildings, and authorized medical products. The regulation enters into force and takes effect the same date. [Poland, Official Gazette, 03/25/20]
