Poland Lower House Considers Bill to Amend GST Act

The Polish lower house of parliament (Sejm) Jan. 9 accepted for consideration Bill No. 1037/2025, to amend the GST Act. The bill includes a measure to reintroduce a zero percent VAT rate from Feb. 1 to Dec. 31 on certain types of food, including meat and fish, processed food, dairy products, cereal products, bread and bakery products, vegetables, and fruits.
