Poland MOF Announces Cabinet Approval of Draft Bill to Introduce Mandatory VAT E-Invoicing Obligations

The Polish Ministry of Finance June 18 announced that the Council of Ministers approved a draft bill to introduce the mandatory national VAT e-invoicing system (KSeF). The announcement includes measures to: 1) implement the mandatory e-invoicing system for active and VAT-exempt taxpayers whose total 2024 sales, including tax, exceed 200 million Polish zlotys (US$54.7 million), from Feb. 1, 2026; 2) implement the mandatory e-invoicing system for all other active and VAT-exempt entrepreneurs, from April 1, 2026; 3) postpone until Jan. 1, 2027, the mandatory e-invoicing implementation date for taxpayers whose total monthly sales don’t exceed 10,000 zlotys (US$2,737); and 4) ...
