Poland MOF Announces Changes to Regulations on New Excise Goods

The Polish Ministry of Finance June 26 announced changes to regulations on new excise goods. The announcement includes: 1) introducing excise tax rates for vaporization devices, vaporization device part sets, and e-cigarette liquid in disposable e-cigarettes, applicable from July 1, and for nicotine sachets, tobacco-free innovative products, and other nicotine products, applicable from Aug. 1; 2) that the excise stamp marking obligation applies to vaporization devices, liquids in disposable electronic cigarettes, nicotine sachets, tobacco-free innovative products, and other nicotine products, excluding parts kits for vaporization devices; and 3) that for the sale of products needing to be marked with excise ...
