Poland MOF Seeks Comments on Draft Bill to Amend Various VAT Measures

The Polish Ministry of Finance Sept. 10 opened a consultation on a draft bill to amend various VAT measures. The bill includes measures to: 1) apply a zero percent VAT rate on the supply of rescue vessels and lifeboats that are used at sea and aren’t seagoing ships and boats; 2) extend the application of the 8 percent VAT rate for the supply of medical devices admitted to trading on the basis of the previously applicable Act on Medical Devices; 3) reduce the VAT rate on the supply of menstrual cups to 5 percent from 23 percent; 4) extend, until ...
