Poland Prime Minister Announces Bill to Partially Transpose VAT in Digital Age Directive

The Polish Prime Minister’s Office April 7 announced Bill No. UC147, to partially transpose Directive 2025/516/EU, on VAT in the digital age (ViDA). The bill includes measures to: 1) clarify supplies considered facilitated by electronic interfaces; 2) clarify the calculation of the 10,000 euro (US$11,779) and 42,000 Polish zloty (US$11,614) sales thresholds for determining the place of taxation for intra-Community distance sales and sales of telecommunications, broadcasting, and electronic services; 3) specify that for taxpayers under the 10,000 euro threshold, the choice of the place of taxation of such sales in the country of consumption is considered made by each ...
