The Polish Prime Minister’s Office April 28 announced that the Council of Ministers adopted a bill to amend tax measures for shipping companies. The bill includes measures to: 1) restore the tonnage tax for individuals with shipping income, and apply the tonnage tax to domestic shipping, offshore sector services, ship chartering, and ship management; 2) introduce an individual income tax exemption for seafarers, regardless of their nationality or days worked per year.
