Poland Prime Minister Announces Cabinet Adoption of Proposal to Increase Minimum Wages for 2025

The Polish Prime Minister’s Office June 13 announced that the Council of Ministers adopted a proposal to increase 2025 minimum wages. The proposal includes measures to: 1) increase the monthly minimum wage, which is effective Jan. 1, 2025, to 4,626 Polish zloty (US$1,131), from 4,300 zloty (US$1,051) in 2024; and 2) increase the hourly minimum wage for specific civil law contracts, which is effective Jan. 1, 2025, to 30.20 zloty (US$7.38), from 28.10 zloty (US$6.87) in 2024.
