The Polish Prime Minister’s Office Sept. 13 announced that the Council of Ministers adopted a regulation increasing 2023 minimum wages. The regulation contains measures: 1) increasing monthly minimum wage effective Jan. 1, 2023, to 3,490 Polish zloty (US$738) from 3,010 zloty (US$636) in 2022; 2) increasing monthly minimum wage effective July 1, 2023, to 3,600 zloty (US$761); 3) increasing hourly minimum wage for specific civil law contracts effective Jan. 1, 2023, to 22.80 zloty (US$4.82) from 19.70 zloty in 2022 (US$4.16); and 4) increasing hourly minimum wage for specific civil law contracts effective July 1, 2023, to 23.50 zloty (US$4.97). ...
