The Polish Prime Minister’s Office June 12 announced that the Council of Ministers adopted a proposal to increase minimum wage rates, effective Jan. 1, 2026. The proposal includes measures to increase: 1) the monthly minimum wage rate to 4,806 Polish zlotys (US$1,294.80), from 4,666 zlotys (US$1,257.08); and 2) the hourly minimum wage rate for specific civil law contracts to 31.40 zlotys (US$8.46), from 30.50 zlotys (US$8.22).
