Poland Says Oil Firms Windfall Tax to Help Balance Spending Path

Planned Polish windfall tax on oil companies is set to level out cuts in VAT and excise tax on fuels introduced last month, Finance Ministry said in mid-term budget plan.

  • That will help Poland stay on budget spending path recommended by the EU to allow the country to exit the excessive deficit procedure
