Poland to Cut Personal Income Tax Rate to 12% From 17%

Polish government will reduce the lowest personal income tax rate to 12% from 17% to compensate for elevated inflation caused, in part, by war in Ukraine, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki says at news conference in Warsaw.

  • The government plans to introduce the tax cut from July 1; will also scrap the so-called middle-class tax break that has been criticized as complicated
