Poland’s new President Karol Nawrocki plans to propose a series of tax reductions, starting with an announcement on Friday, daily Rzeczpospolita reports.

  • Nawrocki could propose later today either reducing VAT to 22% from 23% or introducing a 0% VAT rate for families with at least 2 children, the newspaper says
    • NOTE: The President’s legislative initiative would need to be approved by parliament, where his allies — who are in the opposition the government — don’t have a majority
