Portugal Parliament Considers Bill to Reduce VAT Rate on Electricity, Natural Gas

The Portuguese Parliament Nov. 4 accepted for consideration a bill to reduce the VAT rate on electricity and natural gas to 6 percent from 23 percent. The measure was announced as part of the 2019 budget. [Portugal, Parliament, 11/04/19]
