Portugal Tax Agency Issues Circular on VAT Exemption for Medical Equipment Due to Coronavirus

The Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority April 29 issued Circular No. 30220 extending the VAT exemption on medical equipment until the end of the coronavirus pandemic, and expanding the scope of equipment eligible for the exemption to include private individuals receiving treatment.
