Reeves Says ‘Not Serious’ to Suggest UK May Need IMF Bailout (1)

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves hit back at the opposition Conservative Party for suggesting the UK may need to seek a bailout from the International Monetary Fund, calling the claim “irresponsible.”

Reeves was responding to remarks by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, who told BBC TV late on Monday that she’s “really worried” the UK may have to go “cap in hand” to the IMF to ask for money.
