Romania Tax Agency Announces Reporting Deadline for Financial Accounts of Nonresident Taxpayers

The Romanian National Agency for Fiscal Administration Feb. 12 announced the May 15 deadline for financial institutions to report information on the financial accounts of nonresident taxpayers for 2023, using form F3000. The announcement also includes: 1) the requirement that financial institutions report annually to the National Fiscal Administration Agency (ANAF) to achieve the automatic exchange of information; 2) the ANAF portal’s relevant information on automatic exchanges of information, including FAQs and clarifications; and 3) requirements for confirming the reporting deadline and the correctness of all information provided on the form.
