The Russian Government May 30 issued Decree No. 973, announcing a 10 percent increase in the monthly minimum wage and subsistence wage rates for 2022. The Decree includes measures to increase: 1) the 2022 monthly minimum wage to 15,279 Russian rubles (US$243) from 13,890 rubles (US$221); and 2) the minimum subsistence payments for 2022 to 13,919 rubles (US$221) from 12,654 rubles (US$201).
