The Russian Government March 9 announced a zero percent VAT rate for companies investing in the tourism sector. The rate is valid for five years from the date of commencement of a new business. The preferential rate is valid until June 30, 2027, for existing hotel owners in Russia. [Russia, Government Portal, 03/09/22]
