Russia Submits Bill to Provide Taxation of Specified Land Plots Occupied by Housing Stock

The Russian Government June 15 submitted Bill No. 369931-8, to provide taxation of the specified land plots occupied by the housing stock. The bill includes measures to: 1) apply a preferential land tax rate not exceeding 0.3 percent of the cadastral value; and 2) implement a tax rate not exceeding 1.5 percent for parts of the plot occupied by other real estate objects.
